The Manistee Jaycees are a volunteer organization that strives to make Manistee a better place for all. We take pride in initiating projects that we feel are need to improve our community.

We are proud to partner with the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce and serve as the area's young professionals network.
Whether you grew up in Manistee, or are new to town, we invite you to join us to see what we are about. We include a diverse group of dedicated individuals that range in age from 21 to 40. We are always excited to meet and welcome new people, not only to our group but to Manistee!

Each year, the Manistee Jaycees select an organization that benefits Manistee and our fundraising efforts go to that organization as our Signature Project. In past years, we have worked with Meals on Wheels, Homeward Bound Animal Shelter, and the Stomp Out Cancer Fund.
From Stuffing Easter Eggs, to playing Ultimate Frisbee, to researching organizations for our signature project- the Jaycees will expose you to new ways to get involved in our community. We also offer social meet-ups that allow you to meet new people while you blow off steam!

In order to reach our fundraising goals and help other groups outside our Signature Project, we host multiple events during the year. Some of our events include: Summer Beach Bash, Forest Festival Bed Races, and Roots on the River raffles.

Joining is easy! We will simply email you the application, and you can sign up at your convenience. We have annual dues totaling $80 that are payable through jcimi.org/Manistee. We do not require meeting attendance, but simply ask you volunteer as your schedule allows. Manistee Jaycees are part of JCI Michigan. Find more at jcimi.org!
Please reach out to us if you have any questions!
